Here began the Long trail. Here began our little worries and troubles, our joys and the Living Life, a host of impressions, a Great Experience, and the marvellous scenery of the Southern Blue Mountains. It appeared such a short space of time since we started.

Attempted the Uni Rover Trail (Kanangra to Kowmung return) on a somewhat cooler day after Christmas, but unfortunately did not finish.

I dropped something on the way to the Kowmung the previous week, and went back to retrieve it. Fortunately, it was still sitting in the middle of the path near Cottage Rock. While tempted to continue down Brumby Ridge, I decided to stick with an easier day, and do a couple of smaller walks back…
